I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding one million two thousand nine hundred and eighty two Dollars to the Public Service of the

year

1886,

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the

Governor's Instructions.

This Ordinance charges the sum of $1,002,982, upon the revenue of the Colony for the service of

the year

1886.
